Maintenance method

1. 1. Replace the hydraulic oil. Before disassembling, some preparations need to be done. The first is to extract all the hydraulic oil from the tank. Then take the oil pipe out of the tank. At this time, clean the seals and pipe joints to prevent impurities and stains from clogging the oil pipe. Finally, the new seal must be installed back into place. It should be noted here that if the seal is damaged, it also needs to be replaced.

2. You cannot choose to use water during the cleaning process. Because the hydraulic multi-way valve will absorb outside air during work and exchange it with the internal hydraulic system, including a certain amount of moisture. If you use water directly to rinse, it will easily cause the sealant to age or other parts to be damaged, so the pipes need to be dried before dismantling.

3. Although the replacement procedure of injecting new oil into the hydraulic valve seems simple, the operation steps may be complied. First, the multi-way valve needs to be placed at the bottom of the tank. Then remove the valve core and shake the handle by hand to open the oil chamber of the multi-way valve and remove the residual liquid. Also remove the valve core when reinstalling. This method can reduce the contamination of residual liquid.

 

 
Theory

The multi-way valve/distribution valve of the excavator is mainly composed of the following valve blocks: electromagnetic reversing valve, relief valve, one-way valve, and throttle valve.

The function of each valve block in the excavator's multi-way valve/distribution valve:

Directional valve: controls the oil in and out of the big arm and forearm cylinders, the oil in and out of the swing motor and the traveling motor, and the oil in and out of the dozer cylinder.

Relief valve: There are main relief valve and root relief valve. The main relief valve controls the system pressure. The root relief valve is related to the control method of the system, with positive and negative control.

Check valve: controls the flow of hydraulic oil in one direction.
