The excavator distribution valve (also called the main control valve) is an important component for controlling the hydraulic system, responsible for distributing hydraulic oil to various actuators (such as cylinders and motors). If the distribution valve fails, the excavator will move slowly, weakly or even unable to work.

1. Common manifestations of distribution valve failure
The working device moves slowly or weakly
It may be due to wear of the valve core, serious leakage in the valve body or improper pressure adjustment.
The hydraulic system is seriously heated
It may be due to increased leakage in the distribution valve or stuck valve core, resulting in abnormal oil circulation.
Abnormal or uncoordinated movement of the excavator
The internal valve core of the distribution valve is stuck or damaged, resulting in uneven distribution of the oil circuit.
Hydraulic oil leakage
The sealing ring of the distribution valve is aged or damaged, resulting in hydraulic oil leakage.
2. Distribution valve detection steps
1. Appearance inspection
Check whether the distribution valve has external leakage and whether the sealing ring is damaged.
Check whether the valve body has cracks or obvious damage.
2. Pressure test
Connect the hydraulic pressure gauge to measure the working pressure of each oil circuit.
Compare with the standard pressure value (usually available in the excavator maintenance manual). If the pressure is abnormal, it may be a problem with the valve core wear or pressure regulation.
3. Internal leakage detection
Turn off the excavator engine and observe whether the load component sinks slowly.
If the hydraulic cylinder or actuator sinks significantly in a short period of time, it may be that the distribution valve has serious internal leakage.
4. Valve core action check
Check the flexibility of the valve core through manual or solenoid control.
If the valve core is stuck, try to disassemble, clean or replace it.
