Replacing an excavator's swing motor is a relatively complex task that requires certain expertise and experience. Here are some things to note when replacing an excavator's swing motor:

Safety first: Before performing any repair or replacement work, make sure that the excavator has completely stopped and is in a stable state. Wear appropriate safety equipment during operation, such as gloves, goggles, etc.
Confirm the problem: Before replacing the swing motor, make sure that the problem is indeed with the swing motor. You can eliminate possible causes of the failure by checking other related components.
Prepare tools: Make sure you have the appropriate tools and equipment, such as wrenches, ladders, jacks, etc., for use when replacing the swing motor.
Check the manual: Before replacing the swing motor, it is best to check the excavator's manual or seek advice from a professional to understand the specific steps and precautions for replacing the swing motor.
Disassemble the swing motor: First, you need to disconnect the power supply of the excavator, and then disassemble the original swing motor step by step according to the manual or the guidance of a professional.
Install a new swing motor: When installing a new swing motor, make sure the connection is correct and do not tighten the screws too tight or too loose to avoid damage.

Maintenance and repair

 I. Daily Inspection (Before Start-up)

1. **Visual Leak Inspection**: Check the motor housing, oil pipe joints, motor output shaft oil seal, and housing drain port for any oil seepage or leakage. If the oil seal leaks, hydraulic oil will enter the reducer, diluting the gear oil and damaging the gears.

2. **Listen for Abnormal Noises**: Rotate the machine left and right, listening for any metallic friction or clicking sounds; check for any jamming or vibration during rotation.

3. **Slewing Brake Check**: Park the machine on a slope and check if it rolls (drifts). Failure to brake is a major safety hazard; continue working immediately.

4. **Hydraulic Oil Level and Temperature**: Check the hydraulic oil dipstick when the machine is cold; the oil level should be within the standard range. During operation, the oil temperature should not exceed 80℃, as high temperatures will accelerate the aging of seals.

5. **Slewing Bearing Large Gear Ring**: Clean off any dirt, inspect the gear surface, and apply grease as needed (routinely apply slewing bearing grease every 250 hours). Check for any loose connecting bolts.
